Dr J.T Electricwala passed his M.S Orthopaedics from the prestigious B.J Medical College, Pune in the year 1978. After passing out, he worked at Sancheti Hospital, Pune for 5 years and headed the centre for the Orthopaedically handicapped children. While at Sancheti Hospital, he conducted numerous diagnostic and operative camps for the Orthopaedically handicapped children all across the state of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Simultaneously, he started private practice and was chief orthopaedic surgeon at Lokmanya Hospital, Chinchwad for 17 years. He performed a large number of complex trauma and deformity correction surgeries in Phaltan, Baramati, Daund, Bhor, Shirwal and Pune.

He established the Electricwala Hospital and Clinics in the year 1986 in Himalayan Heights on Pune-Solapur Highway. His utmost hardwork, perseverance, devotion and skill over the past 4 decades has been instrumental. He served as the President of the Pune Orthopaedic Society in the year 2013-2014 and was instrumental in the stupendous success of the Maharashtra and Pune Orthopaedic Annual Conferences during the academic year.

Dr A.J Electricwala passed his M.S in Orthopaedics in the year 2013 (University Gold Medallist) from Pune. In the same year, he went on the clear his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Orthopaedics from Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi.

Following this, he trained at the prestigious Stanford University in California, USA in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction and Sports Medicine in the year 2015.

He completed a certified course in Oxford Partial Replacement. He has completed training at the prestigious National University Hospital, Singapore in Robotic Knee Replacement Surgery (Navio- Smith and Nephew) in 2019.

Dr A J. Electricwala performs more than 200 Partial and Total hip and knee replacements annually and has good experience in complex primary and revision hip and knee operations.
